I was going to write a big blog entry tonight about communication, but I had two hours of premarital counseling with a couple tonight on the subject and I am communicated out. :)
In several recent situations, I have been reminded of the fact that a lot of people talk a lot and have a lot to say but do not necessarily communicate. Much of the time they do not listen, to themselves or others. They are only interested in expressing, but not absorbing, reflecting, or understanding.
Isn't it interesting that God, who knows all things and does not need to be told anything, still asks us to talk to Him, ask Him things and express things to Him. He understands that communication is more then just sending us His word and telling us to listen and agree.
