Laughing at Elitists

  09/17/08 08:13, by , Categories: Politics
I saw an article on CNN this morning that really cracked me up. It shows that even "smart people" can be kind of silly, especially when it comes to politics. Now I don't care whether you agree with Obama or not. I'm not defending or discussing his policies, but this was funny. This woman who supported Hillary and was a member of the Democratic National Committee' Platform Committee will now support and endorse McCain. But here are her reasons.
“This is a hard decision for me personally because frankly I don't like him,” she said of Obama in an interview with CNN’s Joe Johns. “I feel like he is an elitist. I feel like he has not given me reason to trust him.” Forester is the CEO of EL Rothschild, a holding company with businesses around the world. She is married to international banker Sir Evelyn de Rothschild. Forester is a member of the DNC’s Democrats Abroad chapter and splits her time living in London and New York.
So, Obama, who lives in Chicago, just paid off his and his wife's student loans two years ago, who is by all accounts a down home, loving dad, is considered an elitist by a woman who is the CEO of an international holding company married to an international banker who lives in London and New York? Regardless of your politics, that's just funny!!
