It is snowing hard tonight. Going to have to snowblow in the morning. I don't mind snow, I just don't like the mix. Now they are saying a possible big storm Saturday night into Sunday morning. I hope not!! I really don't want to miss church. I am excited about the series we are doing right now and I have every Sunday worked out from now until Easter. I can't push Palm Sunday and Easter back a week if we miss church! I'm praying the storm wraps up early enough Saturday night that we are all set for Sunday morning. This week is going to be Covenant Sunday where we talk about our church covenant and what it means. It will all be part of a special service that will include communion. Should be a good morning if the weather permits. I am almost finished with the next three Sunday messages and I have all but finished the following three Sundays. Next week it will be time to work on radio show again.

Well, I have stayed up too late watching the results of Super Tuesday. It is starting to look like McCain is going to be the Republican nominee. Romney may finally be finished. Huckabee for VP? With the Republican party so divided, I have to consider, did Christians end up loosing clout by being defined by a narrow set of issues as opposed to a comprehensive world view that goes beyond one or two major issues? Interesting thought. Obama vs. Hillary fascinates me. The saga continues.

Why did I choose the name "Pastor's Window"? Well, I was thinking about the fact that when I work at my desk in my home office, I look out of the window and see the church. There is also a lot that goes on outside the window and I thought it might be a good metaphor for a blog that looks out at life and ministry.

Well, I have been wanting to create a blog for awhile. Now, finally, I have put one together. Now the challenge will be to be faithful to post. I'll probably put several on to begin and then we'll see.
